We also bring you something to tickle your taste buds ahead of the festive season.
Police in DR Congo say they have arrested 275 people during two days of protests against President Joseph Kabila’s hold on power despite the end of his constitutional mandate. At least 22 people have been killed in the unrest.
Meanwhile, Gambia’s President Yahya Jammeh is also digging his heels in, refusing to accept his defeat to rival Adama Barrow in the December 1 election.
